Life is full of surprises

I cannot express how fortunate I am to be surrounded by all the kind and loving individuals in my life. I ended 2016 feeling extremely optimistic, especially with the support and encouragement of my closest friends. Little did I know, love would continue to grow exponentially. To this day, I constantly wonder what I did to deserve such wonderful people in my life.

Last year, Tracy planned one of the most spectacular birthday surprises for me and I am still in awe of it till this day. I thought it would be the last of it but this past weekend, Eric and Karen surprised me with yet another incredibly planned out celebration. Eric and I were supposedly going out for my birthday dinner but we had to stop by his place to pick up “one last present”. They were secretly planning this party for the past month and everything came out to be unbelievably perfect.

The decorations were all created and set up by Karen and I can’t begin to explain how beautiful they were. Girl, you are the sister I never had and the best friend that I’ll have for life. You’ve done so much for me throughout our friendship and I am grateful for all our shared memories. Thanks for curating the surprise party and decorating the birthday cake of my Pinterest dreams. Thanks for creating a wall filled with priceless memories printed on Polaroid films and filling the room with my favorite flowers. If there is anyone that knows me better than myself, it is you. You are one of the few genuinely selfless and caring individuals I know and I cherish you infinitely. ❤

I want to thank all my friends who contributed to and attended the surprise party. Each and every one of you has made a significant impact in my life and I value all the memories we’ve ever shared. I was incredibly happy to see everyone together because nowadays, it’s not often that we’re able to see each other and spend quality time with one another.

Lastly, I want to thank my boyfriend for organizing this surprise :’) Thanks for planning an event that allowed me to spend time with some of my closest friends before the move to Sacramento. This is one of the best presents you could ever give me. Most importantly, thanks for always being so thoughtful and loving. I don’t want to drown everyone in cheese, but I really look forward to growing with you. ❤️
