I recently explored Arts District with my lovely friends. To be honest, we mainly went to shoot pictures because my friend, Alex Tang, wanted to make use of his new camera equipment. It was also an excuse for me to have some content to blog about! I’ve been to the Arts District multiple times but I never really explored the area. To my surprise, we found many cool restaurants, coffee shops, and bars that I never thought were there. The neighborhood reminded me of Bushwick, Brooklyn. Many of the walls are filled with creative graffitis that are eye-catching and graphic. Most of the restaurants have industrial interiors with many unique dishes such as a German gastropub, Wurstküche. They serve a variety of hot dogs with bizarre sausages that range from rattlesnake to rabbit meat.. Try it if you dare.

We had lunch at Arts District Brewing Company. It is an arcade pub where they have a variety of games that range from skeeball to ping pong. It’s definitely a great atmosphere to meet and hang with friends. It’s also connected to a gastropub called, Fritzi, which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of the food or brewery because I was honestly too hungry to snap a few good photos. Trust my judgment and give these places a visit!

It was a memorable day for all of us because since we’ve been so busy with our personal lives, we haven’t gotten the chance to explore the city like we used to. It’s never a dull moment with these derps because we always manage to laugh at the most idiotic things. Yet, we can be completely mature and serious when need be. I have nothing else to say but that I freaking love my friends.
